In holistic vet medicine, EPM is not caused by protozoa.
The protozoa are opportunistic. They only show up when there's a problem with the nerves of the horse.
EPM Resolve corrects the root cause of the nerve problem, so your horse's EPM problem is solved.

TBT EPM Resolve is an energetically enhanced product targeted at the primary causes of equine narcolepsy and/or sleep deprivation.
Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis (EPM) is a serious neurological disease affecting the central nervous system of horses, considered the most prevalent cause of neurologic disease in horses in the Americas. It is currently believed to be caused by the protozoan parasite Sarcocystis neurona, with less common cases attributed to Neospora hughes. This author believes otherwise. Instead that the protozoa are simply opportunistic, and arrive due to nerve dysfunction.
Clinical signs of EPM are highly variable and can mimic other neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, making diagnosis challenging. Signs may include incoordination, ataxia, muscle atrophy (often asymmetric), gait abnormalities, weakness, difficulty swallowing, facial nerve paralysis, head tilt, and behavioral changes. Some horses may stand with their feet splayed or lean against walls for support. The onset can be slow or sudden, and signs may be asymmetrical or fluctuate over time.
Product shown is a 60 day supply. Note that the enclosed scoop is 1 gram, which is very small. This is because the physical herbs are only needed to "deliver" the energy.
The energy works with your horse's bioelectric field, as well as the immune system, to correct and clear issues.
Directions for use: Enclosed level scoop is 1 gram. Give 1 scoop daily. Reseal after each use.
*Estimated time of use: The estimated time of use for a given symptom set is variable. The estimate shown for the product is based on three horse averages. That is, it is based on 1)average age, 2) average overall health, and 3) average severity of symptoms. For horses that are older, more severe symptoms, or less overall health, please give them more time on the product.
Detox symptoms: Some horses may show detox symptoms. Detox means that your horse is now able to clear out cellular debris, and thereby detoxify. If your horse shows detox symptoms, you may see slight worsening of the original issue. This is only temporary as the horse is ramping up the elimination of the problem. As long as your horse is eating, drinking, and temperature is normal, there is no need to discontinue the product.
Active Ingredients per 1 gram (scoop provided): A proprietary blend of Aloe vera leaf and Milk Thistle.
Inactive Ingredients: None

EPM stands for Equine Protozoal Myelitis. It is a neurological condition, that typically worsens over time.
Generally, no, horses with EPM are not safe to ride. Consult with your veterinarian to be sure.
No, EPM is not contagious.
At this time, there is no method to prevent EPM.
There are multiple drug treatment regimens to treat EPM. However, none of them are targeting the underlying cause. Instead, these drugs are targeting the protozoa that is blamed for this condition. This protozoa is simply an opportunistic organism. Protozoa are not the real cause of EPM.
You can successfully treat EPM by using TBT EPM Resolve.
Yes, horse's behavior can change with EPM, although not all horses have behavioral changes.
Feed the EPM horse the same feed that you would a normal horse. That is, free choice grass hay (multiple species, no rye/alfalfa/clover). Along with free choice minerals and salt. No grains.
