NOTES FOR USE
Directions for use: Enclosed level scoop is 1 gram. Give 1 scoop daily for horses 1000-1200 lbs. Give 1/2 scoop daily for horses 500 lbs or under. Reseal after each use.

That is, it is based on 1)average age, 2) average overall health, and 3) average severity of symptoms. For horses that are older, more severe symptoms, or less overall health, please give them more time on the product.
Detox symptoms: Some horses may show detox symptoms. Detox means that your horse is now able to clear out cellular debris, and thereby detoxify. If your horse shows detox symptoms, you may see slight worsening of the original issue. This is only temporary as the horse is ramping up the elimination of the problem. As long as your horse is eating, drinking, and temperature is normal, there is no need to discontinue the product.
